Citroën C3

The Citroën C3 was historically a medium sized hatchback that offered unique styling, beautiful premium interiors and a price tag to go along with that. With the launch of the latest model, Stellantis and Citroën repositioned the C3, as a budget crossover.

The new iteration of the C3 is also built in India, which assists with getting the vehicle to market at a lower price point. The Citroën C3 combines all the attributes that people expect in this segment including affordability, style and a variety of unique features that aim to make life on board as comfortable as possible.

The front of the C3 is instantly recognisable with its Y form language lighting signature and traditional chevrons located at the centre of the grille. The Citroën logo stands

alone, separated from the two horizontal chrome bars extending towards the daytime running lamps on either side of the car.

The interior is surprisingly roomy, given the exterior dimensions, and features a variety of distinctive interior design elements, something that Citroën has been known for throughout their history.

Upfront there is an easy to use 10-inch touchscreen, the largest in any hatch and the heart of the infotainment system, which includes wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto smartphone mirroring capability. Ahead of the driver is a seven-inch colour TFT screen with up to six modes for displaying vehicle information, as well as options to monitor fuel consumption or tyre pressures. The new C3 is powered by Citroën’s acclaimed Puretech 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that offers 61kW and 115Nm and which offers a great balance between performance and fuel efficiency as Citroën claim that it will use just 5,6 litres per 100km.

Citroen C3 Aircross

The Citroën C3 Aircross offers SUV versatility along with a muscular design and modern, turbocharged drivetrain resulting in an offering that represents excellent value for money in this segment.

The Citroën C3 Aircross combines the distinctive signature Citroën brand design markers with pure SUV attributes into muscular and eye-catching styling.

The C3 Aircross Plus is powered by a 1.2 litre PureTech engine that offers 60kW and 115Nm and which is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Both the C3 Aircross MAX and MAX7 are powered by Citroën’s acclaimed 1.2-litre turbocharged PureTech three-cylinder engine which delivers 81kW at 5 500rpm and 205Nm from 1 750rpm. Unique to this segment is the fact that these models are mated to a six-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.

The Citroën C3 Aircross is available as both a five and seven-seater derivative. The five-seater version offers generous kneeroom for rear seat passengers and a 444-litre boot. The seven-seater version adds intelligent modularity including a third row and two individual seats.
