Tata returns to the South African market with a four-car model range that covers the most popular segments of the local market in terms of body styles and price points with the Tiago, Punch, Curvv and Harrier.
Tata Tiago
The Tata Tiago is the stylish entry point into the Tata range that brings youthful energy to the compact hatchback segment. Measuring 3 767mm and fitted with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that offers 63kW and 113Nm, with a choice of a five-speed manual or an AMT transmission, it is perfectly suited to city life.
The interior is packed with tech including a 7.0-inch or a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, HD reverse camera, wireless connectivity and a cooled glove box. Standard safety features include ABS, EBD, Corner Stability Control and dual airbags across the range. The Tiago will be offered in four variants.
Tata Punch
The Tata Punch brings bold character and urban practicality to the compact hatchback segment, with five derivatives to suit every lifestyle. The Punch is compact in size but big on personality and designed for those motorists who are looking for SUV confidence, smart features and everyday practicality, wrapped in a stylish package. Under the bonnet is a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, producing 65kW and 115Nm.
The interior features smart technology including a seven-inch Harman infotainment system or a floating 10.5-inch display, both with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. Clever details include wide-opening 90-degree doors. A high-level of standard safety includes features such as ESP, ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control and dual airbags.
Tata Curvv
The Tata Curvv is a striking coupé-inspired SUV that is sure to turn heads thanks to a bold, aerodynamic silhouette and modern design language. Measuring 4,3 metres and offering impressive ground clearance, it blends sporty proportions with a commanding road presence.
The Curvv is fitted with a responsive 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 88kW and 170Nm and which can be paired to a six-speed manual or an advanced seven-speed DCA automatic transmission.
Inside, the Curvv blends style and technology thanks to a seven-inch or 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, 360-degree surround view system with blind view monitor, voice assisted panoramic sunroof and customisable mood lighting. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP across the range.
Tata Harrier
The Tata Harrier is a full-sized SUV that blends striking design, commanding performance and premium comfort.
The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbodiesel engine that offers 125kW and 350Nm.
The interior is defined by a modern, tech-rich cabin that is home to a 10.25-inch or 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that boasts wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Alexa Car2Home connectivity to keep occupants seamlessly connected wherever
they go. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control and Level 2 ADAS functionality with 20 key features to ensure peace of mind for every drive.
Specification highlights include voice-enabled dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a cooled armrest, gesture-controlled tailgate and Terrain Response modes.
