Jaecoo J5

The J5 Crossover slots beneath the J7 within the Jaecoo lineup, offering customers an entry point into the premium marque.

The J5 features a bold, assertive design combining modern styling cues with rugged touches. The prominent Jaecoo grille flows seamlessly into the slim headlights, lending the vehicle plenty of presence. Generous ground clearance and subtly pronounced wheelarches underscore the J5’s adventurous personality. At the rear a lightbar incorporates the taillights and Jaecoo nameplate, while the refined rear bumper integrates neatly with bodywork.

The interior is home to a 13.2-inch touchscreen along with integrated entertainment applications and smart navigation.

Jaecoo J7

The J7 boasts high levels of sophistication and performance along with a modern yet classic design aesthetic. The J7 is designed and manufactured for customers who enjoy the great outdoors but do not want to compromise on comfort and specifications.

Under the bonnet of the J7 is a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 145kW and 290Nm. On Vortex and Glacier derivatives power is delivered to the front wheels, while the range topping Inferno features all-wheel drive. All models utilise a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

The J7 features a comprehensive range of luxuries and standard features including adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, a fully digital cockpit as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Jaecoo J7 SHS

Jaecoo recently launched a plug-in hybrid derivative of their J7, badged SHS, which utilises a petrol engine paired with an electric motor to offer excellent performance and efficiency.

The turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder, working in conjunction with the electric motor, offers a combined output of 255kW and 525Nm. Power is transferred to the front wheels via a dedicated hybrid transmission. An 18.3 kWh battery provides an all-electric range of 90km.

The J7 SHS shares styling with the standard J7 but can be differentiated by model specific 19-inch alloy wheels and unique badging on the tailgate. The J7 SHS benefits from LED head and taillights as well as a standard panoramic sunroof.

Positioned in front of the driver is a 10.25-inch LCD cluster that displays all the relevant and necessary information. Centrally mounted in the fascia is a 14.8-inch touchscreen that offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
